Steam is once again hosting its annual festival of games created in Russia – Games From Russia 2025.
Formally, this is a festival of the publisher Blackbalance Games, not Steam itself, but Steam approves all such events, so it is normal for them to sell games from the aggressor country. There is nothing you can do about it, because Steam and Valve ignore complaints about such festivals, except that you can try to complain about individual games. On the other hand, Steam ignores such complaints as well.
Although there is still some benefit from such a festival, it can help you add to your list of games, studios, and publishers that are worth ignoring.
