Boston Dynamics demonstrates new capabilities of the Atlas robot

Boston Dynamics periodically delights with new videos in which it demonstrates the capabilities of its own humanoid robot Atlas. We have already seen a video in which Atlas performed acrobatic elements, including somersaults. Today, another video appeared in which it walks, runs, crawls, squats, somersaults and makes simple dance moves. It looks quite natural. To do this, first, all the movements were performed by a person using Motion Capture (motion capture system), after which Atlas repeated them. As part of this project, Boston Dynamics collaborated with the RAI Institute (Institute of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence).
