Control Ultimate Edition from Remedy Entertainment has been released on Mac computers. The game is already available on the Apple App Store and will also be available on Steam later. In 2024, Remedy announced that Control would be released on Mac in February 2025, the studio did not explain the reasons for the delay of the game's release by a whole month.
System requirements include macOS 14.0, an M1 chip or later, and 28GB of storage. However, ray tracing is only supported on M4 chips.
The main character, Jessie Fayden, enters the Federal Bureau of Paranormal Activity in search of her brother, but discovers that the bureau has been taken over by beings from another dimension. Jessie accidentally becomes the director of the bureau and must liberate the bureau and find answers to her questions.
