Google and Pokemon have teamed up for a new hidden game in the search engine, in which players can try to catch 151 original Pokemon from the Kanto region, Hypebeast reports.
The game is now available via Google Search on Android and iOS. To start the game, users need to search for “Pokemon” or the name of one of the original 151 Pokémon. If users have the appropriate update, a Poké Ball will appear in the bottom corner.
Players will need to find each Pokémon individually, but Master Balls will be required to catch Legendary and Mystical Pokémon such as Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, and Mew. These Pokémon will be unlocked in turn, and players must first catch a certain number of other Pokémon to catch them - after 5, 20, 50, 100, and 150 Pokémon.
After players catch Pokémon, Google will open a new page in its own Pokedex, allowing them to track their progress.
